WAREWASHINGFLIGHT-TYPE DISHWASHERPROFI FTNEFFICIENT – RELIABLE – INNOVATIVE1ECONOMYENERGY-MANAGEMENT EFFICIENTA conventional flight-type dishwasher loses 40 % of theenergy already available in the machine via the exhaustsystem. Here the distribution of water and the air stream havea considerable influence. The energy-management EFFICIENTreduces the loss by evaporation. The improved arrangementof the wide angle nozzles FAN and the orientation of the washarms reduce the air flow within the machine. The patentedwide angle nozzle FAN spreads out a 65 % wider and moreeven spray pattern. Therefore the recirculation of water canbe reduced for the same wash result. In order to keep thesystem in balance less air/water steam has to be exhausted.The energy-management reduces the energy loss of the flighttypedishwasher by up to 25 %.DETERGENT SAVING SYSTEM LOW-CHEMDetergent is dosed directly into the wash tank, which iscontinuously regenerated by fresh water from the rinse.Therefore detergent is added to maintain the concentrationaccording to the added regeneration volume. The enhancedLOW-CHEM detergent saving system directs 120 liters ofrinse water into the wash tank for regeneration. Ahead ofthe final rinse, detergent is flushed off the wash ware by theRADIUS pre-rinse nozzle and diverted back into the washtank. The dosing of detergent depends on the regenerationwater volume. As a result detergent consumption is reducedby up to 65 % compared to conventional systems.HOBART HEAT RECOVERYHOBART‘s heat recovery system functions according tothe countercurrent principle, using the energy from theextracted air to heat up the incoming water. Ther energyexchange takes place in the HOBART high-performancecondenser. At the same time, the extracted air is cooleddown and dehumidified. The HOBART heat recoery systemreduces energy consumption by up to 6.1 kW and totalconnected load to 36.1 kW. 1) The extracted air can be leddirectly into the building‘s ventilation ducting. 2)HOBART HEAT PUMPThe HOBART heat pump uses the residual energy in theextracted air following heat recovery. A compressor andrefrigerant are used to ensure efficient heat recoery. Theamount of recovered energy is sufficient to heat the washand rinse water. 2WASH RESULTWASH SYSTEM CONTACT-PLUSThe impact with detergent solution via the wash arms is,apart from the temperature, the main factor influencing thecleaning result.The precision of the patented FAN wide angle nozzlesmakes it possible to reduce the distances between thewash arms. The wash arms are located very close to oneanother, thus achieving full cleaning performance. Inconnection with the 65 % wider wash jets the newconfiguration of the FAN wide angle nozzles washes theitems three times per wash arm.The 11 wash arms of the CONTACT-PLUS wash systemguarantee an optimal wash result.RINSE TRIThe patented triple rinse TRI consist of the RADIUSpre-rinse nozzle, a recirculated rinse and a fresh water finalrinse. The new RADIUS pre-rinse is ranged in front of thepumped rinse. It rinses off most detergent from the washware before entering the rinse zone. The water is directedback into the wash tank, minimizing detergent addition intothe recirculating rinse water.CONVEYOR BELT FREEFLOWThe position of items on the conveyor is important,especially for mixed loads, where large items like trays mayshield smaller ones. The FREEFLOW conveyor is designedto avoid spray shadows, so that every item is exposed tothe full wash power of the jets.
