EDITORIALEACH ONE REACH ONETo ameliorate the sufferings of illiterates and eradicate the illiteracyamong a major chunck of society consisting of school drop-outs andhave-nots, Govt. of India launched, with a fanfare, a campaign of “EachOne Teach One”. The overall results might not have been very encouragingbut it did bring awakening among that group to learn the 3 R’s. Kerala &Andhra Pradesh can boast of near 100 % literacy. One to one, face toface interaction does yield good results.Let us, therefore, in the B.V.P. fraternity make a rhyme and introducethis slogan “Each One Reach One” to achieve a goal we have set forourselves. There cannot be any ‘population control’ so far as ourorganization is concerned. Let every one of us (members) approach atleast, one person, acquaint him with the objectives of this NGO, who hasmade a mark in the field of Sewa and Sanskar. To make your point ofview more effective hand over the basic literature published by BVP tohelp him go through the activities undertaken by our branches all overthe country. This step will inspire the person to enrol himself / herself asan honorable member of this Org. Time permiting, the person can bemotivated to attend some function/ activity of the Parishad. Our aim isto increase the no. of members and open new branches. But this task isnot to be undertaken at the cost of old branches. The present branchesare to be nurtured properly. Hence to achieve the goal set for 2013 let us‘walk together, speak in unison, and think alike’ :laxPNèoa la oks eukafl tkuuke~ABest of Luck.Great leaders start walking alone -^,dyk pyks^- but gathermomentum when they are joined by the masses.
