TheJoint DARPA/ Air Force initiative isdeveloping a sensor of unprecedentedproportions, fully integrated into astratospheric airship to address the nation’sneed for persistent, WAS, tracking andengagement for hundreds of time-critical airand ground targets in urban and ruralenvironments. The contractors are LockheedMartin (prime) and Raytheon (sub). Workon the envelope is being conducted inDover, Delaware.
