Enter theUnlimited class if your boat or number of contestants doesnot qualify for any other category as described above.AwardsTop three finishers in each division will receive a trophy.The winning Corporate Cup team will gain possession ofthe Corporate Cup for one year.Additional Regatta Rules■ Starting positions will be assigned accordingto the time your registration and payment isreceived by BBP (by fax, mail or email toinfo@buffalobayou.org.)■ All contestants in all divisions must wear US CoastGuard approved PFD (personal flotation device)during the entire race. They must be worn as themanufacturer designed them to be worn. Anyparticipant found not abiding by this rule will bedisqualified.■ Except for portages over channel obstructions, boatsmust remain in <strong>Buffalo</strong> <strong>Bayou</strong>. Illegal portaging willdisqualify the team.■ No third party is allowed to touch or help conveycontestant or his/ her equipment. Contestants maypick up food, water or extra paddles during race.■ Intentional capsizing or damaging of any opponent’scanoe or kayak will disqualify the offender.■ Any regatta entry not in the water by 9:45 am willbe disqualified from the event. For an entry to have areasonable chance of finishing the race it must havecleared the Woodway Bridge by noon. Any entry notpast Woodway by noon will be disqualified. Althoughdisqualified entries may choose to continue, our safetyvolunteers will not monitor a disqualified boat.■ Any disputes will be settled by the Rules Committee,whose decision will be final.Severe Water or Weather ConditionsBecause conditions can change without notice, raceinformation will be provided at the start location and byrace officials only. If cancellation takes place, CorporateCup entry fees will be considered a tax deductibledonation to <strong>Buffalo</strong> <strong>Bayou</strong> <strong>Partnership</strong> and used in itsefforts to revitalize the <strong>Bayou</strong>. All other entry fees will berefunded upon written request.
