a - g COURSE CHECKLISTFreshmen applicants must complete a specific set of 15 college prep courses (known as a-g) to be eligiblefor admission to the California State University and the University of California. A unit is equal to oneacademic year or two semesters. Each course needs to be completed with a grade of C or better. Thecourses are as follows:THE a – g SUBJECTREQUIREMENTSa.
