TECHNOLOGY OF SPRING-LOADED CONTACTDESCRIPTION ANDTECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONSFunctional principlePRECI-DIP spring-loaded contactsare composed of a contact body orbarrel, a piston and a helical compressionspring. The electrical contactis established by the pressureexerted by the spring of the pistonagainst a fixed, flat area of theopposite part. Thisdesign exerts a lateral force on thepiston, resulting in a lower ohmicresistance.- patented contact design with integratedmultifinger sliding contactestablishing electrical continuitybetween the contact body and thepiston.
