The programme does not focus ondieting but instead helps the family to establish long-term lifestylechanges to diet and physical activity to promote a healthier lifestyle.The SCOTT Programme consists of 9 sessions with the child and atleast one adult over 6 months for children aged between 5-15 years.Counterweight FamiliesThis programme is currently being piloted in Shetland. TheCounterweight Families Programme is an extension of the AdultCounterweight Programme and is aimed and families where there areboth at least one overweight parent/carer and at least one overweightchild/children that is of Primary School age.
