APPENDIXCORE ALLOCATIONTo calculate <strong>the</strong> core requirements, sum <strong>the</strong> number of words for all routines used. IfNZONE, CARRY, NSIGN, SERVICE, WHOLE, ADD, and/or FILL are not included in <strong>the</strong>first sum, and <strong>the</strong>y are CALLed by a routine in <strong>the</strong> first sum, add <strong>the</strong>ir number of wordsto <strong>the</strong> first sum. Then calculate <strong>the</strong> Reference core requirements. Keep in mind that nomatter how many times a Reference is used, it should be considered only once. Sum <strong>the</strong>core requirements of all References used. Add this sum to <strong>the</strong> first sum. The resultingtotal is <strong>the</strong> core requirement for <strong>the</strong> <strong>1130</strong> <strong>Commercial</strong> <strong>Subroutine</strong> <strong>Package</strong>. Notice that<strong>the</strong> FORTRAN subroutines a, b, and c will be used by most FORTRAN programs and sowill be present whe<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> package is used or not.
