This is the position of the last word ofJCARD into which a character will be keyed (the right-hand end of aDetailed description: The keyboard is read and the information being read is printed onthe console printer. When the specified number of characters have been read, or whenEOF is encountered, the reading terminates. The characters read are converted fromkeyboard codes to EBCDIC and placed in Al format, one character per word. Control isnow returned to the user.
