How to Request TeacherRecommendations• Choose two teachers who know you well.• Ask them, in person, to write a letter.• Ask what they need to write your letter - usually, formfrom college, copy of resume & unofficial Transcript.• Provide teacher with application due dates.• Teachers will upload recommendations to Naviance sothey can be sent electronically by College and CareerCenter.• Allow 4-6 weeks.• Always write a thank you note.
