WHEREAS, the amount of $10,623,032.00 has been approved to be levied for<br />

general operating fund of the <strong>North</strong> <strong>Warren</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong>, and<br />

NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the constituent district municipalities shall remit to<br />

the <strong>North</strong> <strong>Warren</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> Board of Education equal monthly payments beginning<br />

July 1, <strong>2013</strong> through <strong>June</strong> 30, 2014 in payment of the required tax levy with<br />

payments made during the first week of each month, in accordance with the<br />

following distribution:<br />

Blairstown Township $ 4,975,266.76<br />

Frelinghuysen Township $ 2,140,231.69<br />

Hardwick Township $ 1,365,131.54<br />

Knowlton Township $ 2,142,402.01<br />

6. Implement 2012/<strong>2013</strong> Budget<br />

Motion to authorize the Superintendent and Business Administrator to implement the<br />

<strong>2013</strong>/2014 budget once authorized and finalized, pursuant to local and state policies<br />

Motion to authorize the transfer of up to $75,000 to the Maintenance Reserve<br />

2. Resolution – Collective Negotiations Agreement Addendum #1<br />

Motion to approve the following Resolution for the Collective Negotiations<br />

Agreement Addendum #1 between NWRBOE and the NWREA.<br />

WHEREAS, the <strong>North</strong> <strong>Warren</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> Board of Education<br />

(hereinafter referred to as the “Board”) and the <strong>North</strong> <strong>Warren</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> Education<br />

Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) (hereinafter collectively<br />

referred to as the “Parties”) are parties to a collective negotiations agreement for the<br />

2012-<strong>2013</strong> through 2014-2015 school years (hereinafter referred to as “the<br />

Agreement”);<br />

WHEREAS, the Agreement sets forth, within Article VI, a Salary Guide for all<br />

Extra-Curricular and Athletic Advisorship positions for each of the 2012-<strong>2013</strong>, <strong>2013</strong>-<br />

2014 and 2014-2015 <strong>School</strong> Years;<br />

WHEREAS, the Parties have agreed to the addition of five (5) paid Extra-<br />

Curricular and Athletic Advisorship positions effective with the <strong>2013</strong>-2014 school<br />

year; and<br />

WHEREAS, the Parties are desirous of modifying Article VI of the Agreement to<br />

reflect these additional positions; and<br />

WHEREAS, the Parties agree to these amendments in the interest of facilitating<br />

the negotiation of a successor CNA; and<br />

WHEREAS, the Parties wish to amend the CNA to memorialize the parties’<br />

Agreement.<br />

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED that the terms, stipulations and<br />

conditions as established in the Addendum to the collective Negotiations Agreement<br />

between the Board and the Association, which is annexed to this Resolution, are<br />

hereby adopted and approved by the Board. The Board President and Business<br />

Administrator/Board Secretary are hereby authorized and directed to execute the<br />

Addendum, and any other documents necessary to effectuate same.<br />
