Chapter 2. Settings (Option 0)The Settings option allows you to display and change a variety of <strong>ISPF</strong> parametersat any time during the <strong>ISPF</strong> session. Changes remain in effect until you change theparameter again, and <strong>ISPF</strong> saves them from session to session.This chapter explains how to use the fields on the <strong>ISPF</strong> Settings panel and theaction bar choices. Some of the things you can specify are:v Terminal characteristicsv Default options for processing the <strong>ISPF</strong> list and log data setsv Function key assignmentsv Placement of command linesv List data set characteristicsv GDDM ® graphic print parametersv Keylist modificationsv Dialog Test optionv Default colorsv Values of CUA panel elementsv Point-and-shoot color and highlight changesv ENVIRON command options.This facility can be started from any command line with the SETTINGS command,from the Settings choice on the Menu pull-down on any action bar where it isavailable, or by selecting option 0 on the <strong>ISPF</strong> Primary Option Menu.
