ComponentsClean Energy TrainerSolar Module (2 pieces)The 4-cell solar module uses solarpower to generate electricalenergy that can be used to supplythe electrolyzer or other loads. Themodule can be positioned in one ofthree preset angles.Electrolyzer (2 pieces)The electrolyzer uses electricalenergy to produce hydrogen byseparating water into hydrogen andoxygen. It is operated with distilledwater and requires no caustic solutionsor acids.Wind GeneratorThe 6-bladed wind generator useswind power to generate electricalenergy. It directly supplies theelectrolyzer or other loads. Boththe angle and number of its bladescan be varied to understand theireffect on power generation.Gas Storage (4 pieces)The hydrogen and oxygen producedby the electrolyzer is stored in thegas storage (30 ml). A scale on thestorage shows how much hydrogenis produced and consumed.USB Data MonitorThe USB Data Monitor is used fordata acquisition, as an electronicload or as a power supply for theelectrolyzer. It is connected to thecomputer and software throughthe USB port.Fuel Cell StackThe 5-cell fuel cell stack uses hydrogenand oxygen to generateelectrical energy. The number ofcells can be changed to conductdifferent experiments with variousenergy demands.PhotometerThe photometer is used to measurelight intensity and to conductdetailed experiments with solarenergy.AnemometerThe anemometer is used to measurewind speed. It helps users understandhow wind speed affects awind generator’s output.LoadThe load simulates an electricconsumer. Two integrated lampsenable experiments with differentloads.AccessoriesAll items can be stored in the durable, stackable storage box.LampThe special double spotlight simulatessunlight. It provides theoptimal light spectrum the solarmodule needs to achieve optimaloutput levels.FanThe desktop fan simulates wind.It provides the optimal airflowfor operating the wind generator.Three different power levels extendthe experimenting possibilities.
