Th e course will emphasize use of ultrasound, including 2D, 3D, Doppler, and contrast enhancement, while assessing its comparative value to CT and MRI. Experts in preoperative imaging and surgical treatment will present evidence-based diagnostic approaches to enhance your preoeprative evaluation of patients and ultimately improve surgical outcomes. Sokol Th is course provides a comprehensive overview of present and future options for surgical repair and/or offi ce procedures for pelvic fl oor dysfunction: prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, and pain disorders. Each lecture will begin with a case study, overview of the anatomy as it pertains to the highlighted surgical procedure and/or route, and tips and tricks from the experts regarding surgical technique and avoidance of complications enhanced by video presentation. We hope to present a “how-to” guide for physicians who currently perform minimally invasive procedures for pelvic organ prolapse and give the participants a thorough grasp of the specifi c indications for each procedure and how to troubleshoot various complications if they arise. Th e participants are encouraged to prepare diffi cult cases encountered in their own practices for discussion during the question and answer period. Finally, emerging techniques and developing technology in graft implantation, adjustable slings, stem cell therapy, neuromodulation, and diagnostics are presented.
