Summer School Leisure Activities“Beaches, parties (…)yeah, I had a great time inNormandy this summer ! I alsolearned a lot thanks to thewonderful support I receivedfrom the dedicated teachingteam.Jinyu, 2010 SUMMER SCHOOLSTUDENT”ACCOMODATION & ACTIVITIESThe Summer School is also theopportunity to discover Normandy, atypical region near Paris (170 km),renowned for its beaches, museums,monuments and concert halls as wellas other social, cultural and sportingactivities.A wide range of cultural and socialactivities included in the programmewill be offered to Summer Schoolstudents. They will also have theopportunity to take part in variousoptional events. Some activities mayinclude an additional cost.Students will have accommodationwithin easy walking distance of campus,with two students sharing a room.Students have Wifi access and haveaccess to communal kitchen facilities.Breakfast, bedding and cooking utensils(plates, crockery, saucepans etc.) willbe provided.Activities included in the programme:Z’estival Summer Festival, visit ofRouen, Honfleur & Deauville, visit ofD-Day Beaches and memory places ofWorld War II, etc.Optional activities: Pony Riding,Bowling, Claude Monet Foundation &Giverny Gardens, Sailing, etc.

Application forms must be sent byemail to summer.school@sciences-po.fr.Applications received after this date will only beconsidered if places are still available.Students will be notified of their admission to theSummer School by 20 May 2011 and will berequired to pay the programme fees, by the latest31 May 2011. Students should send proof of theirpayment before this date tosummer.school@sciences-po.fr.PAYMENTThe payment of programme fees must be madeby bank transfer to the Fondation Nationale desSciences Politiques (FNSP).
