9 <strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System - technical information<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System is a complete system consisting of press fittings, screwed fittings with manifolds andcabinets, and multilayer pipes PE-RT/Al/PE-RT Multi Universal, PE-RT/Al/PE-HD Multi Universal of diameter ∅14-40 mm, andPE-X/Al/PE-X of diameter ∅50-63 mm.<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System - modern technologyAn ultra modern material - PPSU (phenylene polysulfone) - used in production of press fittings ensures: total corrosion resistance, total neutrality towards potable water, pipe fitting durability higher than for pipes, high mechanical strength.Production technology of PPSU fittings excludes any latent defectsMulti Universal pipes of <strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System consist of inner layer of PE-RT polyethylene of higher <strong>therm</strong>alresistance (in accordance with DIN 16883) and outer layer of PE-HD high density polyethylene or polyethylene of higher<strong>therm</strong>al resistance PE-RT. Between polyethylene layers there is an aluminum layer that is permanently bounded with thepolyethylene layers. Such a structure provides natural resistance to diffusion of oxygen into the system, elasticity, and thelack of "elastic memory" (after bending pipes preserve shape), and eight times smaller <strong>therm</strong>al elongation in comparison withpolyethylene pipes.<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System - lasting technology<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System, because of the perfect design of its elements and their matching, provides: over 50 year of service life, possibility of operating in high temperatures - T work =90°C (working), T max =95°C (maximum; the heat source should have asafeguard against exceeding that temperature) and working pressure of 10 bar for Multi Universal pipe; workingparameters for PE-X/Al/PE-X pipes - T work =80°C, T max =90°C and working pressure 10 bar, extremely durable PPSU fittings whose maximum working parameters are limited by pipe durability, total lack of corrosion with all kinds of water quality.<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System - optimal technology<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System allows to choose optimal technological and economical solutions because of: possibility of concealing in floor the press fittings, possibility of using one type of pipes for water and heating systems.<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System - safe technology<strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System guarantees full safety of assembly and operation: safe design of press fittings provides full control over O-Ring seals during assembly, <strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System has a 10-year warranty, <strong>KAN</strong>-<strong>therm</strong> Press System is approved in many european countries.- 37 -
