Welcome to the 2012
Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs
Annual Gala.
At this evenings Celebration of Champions,
48th Annual Gala, our community gathers
together to recognize champions in three of our
four competition divisions, Autoslalom, Road
Racing, and Time Attack, as well as pay tribute to
the outstanding service and dedication of our
volunteers and officials.
In 2012, as CASC-OR celebrates it’s 61st
Anniversary in motorsports in Ontario, our three
competition divisions, Autoslalom, Road Racing,
and Time Attack, provided close and strong competition to hundreds of
competitors in all of our provincial championship series.
In addition to this, a full calendar of successful affiliated club events and series
were organized by CASC-OR affiliated clubs all over the province.
Our continued success could not be sustained without the financial
investment of several of our long term sponsors and corporate partners who have
continued their commitment to CASC-OR. We’ve been very fortunate to have
attracted new sponsors who had expressed the wish to promote their product
and services through access to the CASC-Ontario Region community. It is their
contributions to the sport which enable us to offer the best motorsport
competition value possible.
The participation of hundreds and hundreds of dedicated volunteers deserve
a heartfelt thanks from the competitors, for making CASC-OR competition safe
and fun. We will be recognizing some of them tonight for significant contributions.
And finally, without you, our competitors. Without you, there would be no
competition, no events, no motorsport. This evening is about your efforts, your
passion for the sport, and ultimately your victories. We applaud you, and the
people who support you – your sponsors, your crews, and most of all your
families – for your commitment to being on the track and competing.
Have a safe and happy off-season, and we look forward to seeing all of you in
the 2013 season.
