honouring their dedication to grassroots motorsports in Ontario.
Volunteer Awards
For Official of the Year, Awarded in the

The Elizabeth Dorey Award
The Elizabeth Dorey Award is presented by
Mosport and the British Empire Motor
Club, to honour the volunteer worker
whose efforts most reflect a steadfast
commitment, tireless dedication, and
sincere love for Motorsport.
Race Division Rookie of the Year
The Rookie of the Year Award honours the
Race division’s top-scoring rookie driver.
The Noone’s Trophy
The Noone’s trophy was named for the
patrons of the sport who operated
Noone’s Motel, a popular meeting place
for Mosport competitors of the 1960’s and
1970’s. It is awarded to the top combined
points scorer across all categories.
Jonathan DeHaas Trophy
The Jonathan DeHaas Trophy honours the
RaceOntario Open Wheel Champion.
Competitor of the Year Award
The Competitor of the Year award honours
a member who is a force to be reckoned
with in competition events while
contributing to Ontario Motorsport to the
benefit of their peers.
The Muriel Knap Trophy
This trophy was donated by Muriel Knap,
who herself was a tirelessly dedicated
proponent of Canadian Motorsport.

The award recognizes the lady competitor
in circuit racing who exemplifies
sportsmanship, ability and charm.
The President’s Cup
The President’s Cup is awarded to the
Regional Sportsperson of the Year.
The Wilson Trophy
First presented at the 1959 AGM by
President Harold A. Wilson, the trophy is
awarded to the region’s most active
competitor across CASC Ontario’s
disciplines.
The Wayne Kelly Memorial Trophy
This award is named in honour of Wayne
Kelly, who was respected among his
competitors as a winning driver and
constructor. The Kelly Memorial is
awarded to the Ontario region club
member who has brought special
recognition and prestige to Ontario
Motorsport.
The A. B. Dick Award
The best organized RaceOntario series
event.
The Media Award
Presented by the region directors for
outstanding media coverage.
WRRC Driver of the Year Award
Awarded by the WRRC and CASC-OR
volunteers to the driver that best
exemplifies the spirit of grassroots racing
with a desire to grow the sport in the
region and shows respect for and a
willingness to assist with the growth of the
volunteer base.
Master of Time and Speed Award
This award is given to the most active race
competitor that has reached the age of
70+.
