Back to Netballreturns to Marlborough with two sessions available for women over the age of 16. Hosted atMarlborough Leisure Centre these are running on Mondays between 11.15am – 12.15pm <strong>and</strong>Wednesday evenings between 8 <strong>and</strong> 9pm. If you haven't played netball since school, or have hada break due to work commitments or family commitments then these sessions give you a gentleintroduction back to the game of netball. It is also ideal if you have moved to a new area <strong>and</strong> arelooking to make friends <strong>and</strong> have some fun whilst improving your fitness. Sessions are £2 each<strong>and</strong> can be booked at the Leisure Centre or by calling 01672 513161. Pewsey Netball Club arealso looking for new members coming into the new season. Pewsey started as a Back to Netballproject <strong>and</strong> are now a club in their own right. Email pewseynetball@hotmail.co.uk or call Anna on07793 243744.Marlborough Junior Netball sessions are restarting in <strong>September</strong> supported by RAYCHEM netballclub from Swindon who are a Gold accredited club, recognition of a very well run club. Theprogramme runs on a Thursday night, starting on the 19 th <strong>September</strong>, between 6pm <strong>and</strong> 7.30pmat <strong>St</strong> John’s <strong>School</strong> <strong>and</strong> will be run indoors in the sports hall. Block 1 of coaching runs untilChristmas <strong>and</strong> costs £22 per person for 11 session with some friendly matches <strong>and</strong> furthertraining being organised for after Christmas. This will be heldon a Thursday night at <strong>St</strong> John’s <strong>School</strong> from 7.30pm until 8.30pm, starting on the 19 th<strong>September</strong>. The aim is to provide fun, recreational basketball for those who are interested in thesport <strong>and</strong> may never have played before, played a little bit before or are simply looking to getinvolved in the game. Sessions are open to men <strong>and</strong> women aged 16+ <strong>and</strong> cost £2 per night forthe first 6 week trial period.
