The year is 1576, the place the Spanish

Vitus made a promise to his beloved

a cure for the Black Plague that killed her.
He begins his journey to Padua along with
his two friends, the master and the dwarf.
After a long and adventurous voyage the
three friends end up in Padua where Vitus,
together with a professor, researches at
