The evening mealsfor the residents are provided solely by contributions prepared and served from the congregationsof local churches and community organizations. This ministry at St. Mary’s has committed tosupplying the dinner six times per year along with the provisions for breakfast the following day.We need you! Since this is meant to be a parish ministry, we ask that everyone watch the weeklybulletin for the dates and times for each dinner. Please sign up to donate to the hungry. It truly is away to help those in need. Due to the fact that this meal is close to the Labor Day holiday pleaseremember to mark your calendar with the date and time.September Meal. Our next meal is Tuesday, September 4. The pick up time is 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. infront of the church. We will be serving a meatloaf dinner including mashed potatoes, vegetablecasseroles and salad. The sign up poster will be in the Commons after all Masses beginning theweekend of August 18 and 19 through September 3. Please check the poster in the Commons fordetails. If cooking is not for you, please consider donating one of following: fresh fruit, salad,dessert, 2-liter bottles of soda, orange juice or fruit juice, dry cereal, hot cereal, eggs, bacon, tea, andcoffee.Thank you! Since that time, wehave continued to offer workshops for new volunteers who get involved in our ever-growing parishcommunity, and will continue to do so this school year. All are welcome to attend.
