Buckwalter, Planned Giving CounselorOne of the most important documents you will ever sign is your will. As the years pass, family needs and other circumstances change. Therefore, it is important to review family andcharitable provisions in the will.On the date of your demise your will is “set in stone.” Periodically during life, we shouldtake the opportunity to review it and possibly rethink some of its provisions. Do the goals, values and idealsas expressed in my will match my current thinking? Have tax laws changed? Are named representatives stillapplicable? Have family needs diminished? After family considerations, a charitable bequest in the will is a special way to express gratitude to God forthe many blessings received during your lifetime. It’s a way to share resources that were thought unaffordableduring your lifetime due to unknown factors relating to future costs for long term health care.At Landis Homes, we invite our residents and friends to participate in our benevolent programs by listingLandis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, Pa 17543 as part of their charitable bequest. The name of aparticular fund can also be designated. To discuss a charitable bequest or other planned giving opportunities please contact the Gift Planning Office at717-509-5490.
