[ARTICLE] 5MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONSSECTION 501. UNIFORMITY OF APPLICATION AND CONSTRUCTION. Inapplying and construing this uniform act, consideration must be given to the need to promoteuniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among states that enact it.SECTION 502. RELATION TO ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES IN GLOBALAND NATIONAL COMMERCE ACT. This [act] modifies, limits, and supersedes the federalElectronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7001, et seq.,but does not modify, limit, or supersede Section 101(c) of that act, 15 U.S.C. Section 7001(c), orauthorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in Section 103(b) of that act, 15U.S.C. Section 7003(b).SECTION 503. REPEALS. If existing provisions addressproceedings for both minors and adults, the provisions should be amended to limit theirapplication to minors. In addition, the state should repeal or limit to minors any existingprovisions authorizing transfer of a guardianship or conservatorship proceeding to another stateand any provisions authorizing a guardian or conservator to act in another state.effective date].SECTION 504.
