Schneider Airsystems - Pipeline Installation Manual Installation of pipelines 15-28 mm The following components are available for conduit systems of 15-28 mm: Pipelines: Polyamide pipe Available materials: PA hard (6m rods) PA soft (rolled pipe, 10 or 25 m) Available colours: grey (RAL 7001) and black (RAL 9005) Available diameters: dia. 15, 18, 22, 28 mm Max. permissible pressure: Lengths of pipe dia. 15-28 mm: 15 bar at 20 °C Rolled pipe dia. 15-22 mm: 15 bar at 20 °C Rolled pipe dia. 28 mm: 14 bar at 20 °C Characteristics: easy to install, inexpensive, not electrically conductive, very flexible, non-toxic, good flow dynamics, light weight, minimal scrap, low assembly costs, smooth inside walls, absolute corrosion-free, cost savings with fittings when using rolled pipe, high safety, grey pipes are UV-stabilised, black pipes are UV-resistant Combinable with: brass plug-in system, stainless steel plug-in system, brass clamping ring system (in conjunction with support sleeves) Aluminium pipe Available materials: aluminium, powder-coated (6m rods) Available colours: grey (RAL 7001) Available diameters: dia. 15, 18, 22, 28 mm Max. permissible pressure: 15 bar at 20 °C Characteristics: ideal in visible area because they can laid very straight, UVresistance, light weight, perfectly suitable for suspending, minimal elongation, can be secured with only a few pipe clips, good in combination with plastic pipes Combinable with: brass plug-in system, stainless steel plug-in system, brass clamping ring system Stainless steel pipe Available materials: stainless steel V4A (6m rods) Available colours: stainless steel Available diameters: dia. 15, 22 mm Max. permissible pressure: 15 bar at 20 °C Characteristics: ideal for cleanroom technology, stable, UV-resistant Combinable with: brass plug-in system, stainless steel plug-in system Tube Manual status 08/2008 Page 3
