DSCalso recognizes unstable vehicle conditions, such as fishtailing or nose-diving. In thesecases, and subject to physical limits, DSC helpsto keep the vehicle on a steady course byreducing engine speed and by applying brakesat individual wheels. The laws of physics cannot be repealedeven with DSC. It will always be thedriver's responsibility to drive in a manner thatmatches road conditions. Therefore, do notlimit the additional safety margin by practicingrisky driving.

Warning of low tire inflation pressureThe warning lamp lights up in yellow. Asignal also sounds. There is a flat tire ora significant loss of tire pressure in oneor more tires.1. Reduce speed and pull the vehicle overcarefully. Avoid strong braking and steeringmaneuvers.2. Identify the damaged wheel or wheels. Todo this, check the tire inflation pressureusing the M Mobility System, refer toRestoring tire inflation pressure on page 33.If the damaged wheel cannot be identified, contact your BMW center.
