YOUTH athleticsLACROSSE SPRING/SUMMER 2013<strong>Northville</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> offers clinics, camps <strong>and</strong> spring team lacrosse forboys <strong>and</strong> girls 1st - 8th grade at all skill levels. All programs are held at <strong>Northville</strong>Community Park. Read below to find the program that best fits your player. A lacrosse jersey will be providedfor team programs.Girls team <strong>and</strong> camp equipment required: Girls lacrosse stick, cleats, mouth guard, <strong>and</strong> lacrosseeye guard. A lacrosse jersey will be provided for team play.Boys 5/6 <strong>and</strong> 7/8 Club LevelTeam LacrosseThis program is for boys who are: new to lacrosse, playinganother spring sport or interested in a shorter season than ourtravel team. This program is run in house <strong>and</strong> does not travelfor games. Coaches will work with players on the fundamentals<strong>and</strong> game strategy to prepare them for competition. Allskill levels, novice to experienced are encouraged toparticipate. Twice a week practices at <strong>Northville</strong> CommunityPark will include drills <strong>and</strong> scrimmages. The week concludeswith two days of on-course play at Downing Farms GolfCourse. We guarantee a student/coach ratio ofapproximately 8 - 1 on the first three days <strong>and</strong> 4 - 1 onplaying days, where there is an instructor accompanyingeach foursome.
