PARK & FACILITY informationFacility Rentals Community Senior Center <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> Center at Hillside. Reserve rooms at the beautiful <strong>Northville</strong>Community Center for baby showers, family gatherings, graduation parties, business meetings <strong>and</strong> receptions! Convenientlylocated in downtown <strong>Northville</strong>, within walking distance of several area churches <strong>and</strong> historic Mill Race Village, the <strong>Northville</strong>Community Center is an ideal facility for that special event. Bring your party to us!” Consider renting the pool at the<strong>Recreation</strong> Center at Hillside for a unique <strong>and</strong> fun option for your next birthday party, school outing, family reunion or specialgathering. Resident rental fee of $98 per hour includes two lifeguards <strong>and</strong> the exclusive use of the entire pool area, includinglocker rooms. Park location requests will be honoredwhenever possible.Tree Donation Donors may request a specific tree species, however, <strong>Northville</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> will make the finalselection based on previously approved l<strong>and</strong>scaping <strong>and</strong> tree plans. Possible parks are: Fish Hatchery, Coldwater Springs,Millennium <strong>and</strong> <strong>Northville</strong> Community Park.Each donation of $500 will include: one tree <strong>and</strong> one bronze marker (with up to 24 characters) <strong>and</strong> installation of both.The tree <strong>and</strong> marker become the property of the City <strong>and</strong>/or Township of <strong>Northville</strong>.Bench Donation Each donation of $1,500 will include: one black wrought iron bench <strong>and</strong> one bronze marker (with up to 24characters) <strong>and</strong> installation of both bench <strong>and</strong> marker. Then bench <strong>and</strong> marker become the property of the City <strong>and</strong>/or Townshipof <strong>Northville</strong>. Payment in full must be received before ordering. Ordering <strong>and</strong> installation of the bench takes 6-8 weeks.Brick Paver Donation <strong>Northville</strong> <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> has created a way for families, individuals, sports teams <strong>and</strong> parkvisitors to become a permanent part of the <strong>Northville</strong> Community Park facility or the Community Center. By purchasing apersonalized, engraved brick, your donation will provide funding for l<strong>and</strong>scaping <strong>and</strong> pathway improvements around the parks<strong>and</strong> buildings.The brick size is 4” x 8” (with 12 characters) for $100 donation each. (Characters, include spaces between words, hyphens,apostrophes <strong>and</strong> periods).<strong>Northville</strong> Dog Park News <strong>Northville</strong> operates two dog parks: Cady Street(located behind the <strong>Northville</strong> Art House at 215 W. Cady Street) <strong>and</strong> Community Park(at <strong>Northville</strong> Community Park - Five Mile Road entrance)<strong>Northville</strong> Dog <strong>Parks</strong> are open all year round <strong>and</strong> the calendar yearmemberships can be purchased at any time.
