<strong>The</strong> Code <strong>of</strong> Practicefor the Pastoral Care <strong>of</strong>International <strong>Student</strong>sWhen students from other countries come to study in New Zealand, it is important theyare well informed, safe and properly cared for. New Zealand educational providers havean important responsibility for the welfare <strong>of</strong> international students.Our international website provides an overview <strong>of</strong>the “Code <strong>of</strong> Practice for the Pastoral Care <strong>of</strong>International <strong>Student</strong>s” and a procedure thatstudents can follow if they have concerns abouttheir treatment by a New Zealand educationalprovider or agent <strong>of</strong> a provider.
