Andrikopoulos FamilySCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONThe intent of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students attendingLaramie County Community College. It is the donors desire to benefit students whomust address significant challenges in their lives in order to pursue higher education.Scholarship requirements:‣ Scholarship recipient must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student.‣ Preference will be given to students who are working one or more jobswhile attending classes; to students who are faced with the burden ofcaring for an elderly parent or disabled child; to students who have adifficult time attending college due to obligations associated with raisingchildren; to students who have lacked the financial means to attendcollege; and to students who have not succeeded at college, however,demonstrates a current desire to succeed.‣ Special consideration should be given to students who have shown adesire to improve their situation in life through education.Application process:‣ Complete attached application.‣ Attach a short essay explaining obstacles you have encountered whiletrying to obtain your education. Additionally, give a brief statement onfamily circumstances.‣ Attach a copy of most recent transcript – college or high school.‣ Letter of recommendation from a professional non-family member whois aware of your past or current situations (counselor, clergy, teacher,advisor, doctor etc.)‣ Students are encouraged to reapply for the Andrikopoulos FamilyScholarship for subsequent years.Produced by LCCC Public Relations PRS 13142 4/13
