ILLICIT TICKET TOUTINGThe act of offering for sale or showing with the intention to sell ortransfer or supplying with the intention to sell or transfer anyExhibition access passes (entry passes, invitations, tickets etc.) ina public or private place or on the Internet, without theauthorisation of the Organiser, is a criminal offence punishable byquestioning and arrest by the police and a fine of €15,000. In theevent that such an offence is repeated, the fine is increased to€30,000.15. INVITATION CARDSThe copying or re-sale of invitation cards is strictly prohibited andshall be subject to prosecution and/or other sanctions.Furthermore, in the event that any fraudulent use of an invitationcard is brought to its attention, the Organiser reserves the right towithdraw the invitation.16. <strong>MILIPOL</strong> PARIS 2013 – SPECIFICREGULATIONS<strong>MILIPOL</strong> PARIS 2013 is a trade fair for professionals only.Attendance is only by personal invitation issued by the Organiseror an Exhibitor.Security instructions for <strong>MILIPOL</strong> PARIS 2013 require allExhibitors to wear their identification badge prominently at alltimes within the Exhibition site.Participants will be asked to present a piece of identification alongwith their professional badge to the security of the Exhibitionbuilding in order to have access to the Exhibition site. Peopleunder the age of 16 are not permitted on site.17. DEMONSTRATIONS AND OTHER EVENTSa) DemonstrationsDemonstrations may only be held at the Exhibition for thoseproducts that require a specific technical explanation.Furthermore, such demonstrations may only take place where theOrganiser has given a special prior written authorisation.Demonstrations on a raised podium are strictly prohibited.Demonstrations carried out using a microphone, or whichharangue or solicit in whatsoever manner, are strictly prohibited.Any full or partial closure of an <strong>Exhibitor's</strong> stand during normalopening hours to the public and, in particular, during anydemonstration, is strictly prohibited without express prior writtenauthorisation from the Organiser.b) Other eventsAll attractions, shows or animations taking place within an<strong>Exhibitor's</strong> stand area must be authorised in advance by theOrganiser. To this end, the Exhibitor shall provide to theOrganiser specific details of any such project (such as thematerials and sound sources intended to be used, the type ofanimation intended to be put on/displayed etc).In any event, the power of any loud speakers intended to be usedmay not exceed 30 decibels (dB) and they shall be turnedinwards towards the interior of the stand and angled towards thefloor. The sound level shall not exceed 85 decibels (dB).c) Under no circumstances shall any demonstration or event takeplace in a manner so as to interfere with the neighbouringExhibitor(s) or the general movement around the Exhibition and,more generally, with the proper carrying out of the Exhibition. Inthe event that there is a breach of the provisions of the presentsub-cause, the Organiser reserves the right to revoke anyauthorisation for the relevant demonstration or event forthwith andwithout further notice.18. ADVERTISINGAll advertising using sound or lighting must comply with theregulations concerning the decoration of the Exhibition and shallbe subject to the prior written agreement of the Organiser. Anysuch agreement shall be conditional upon the advertising notinterfering with any neighbouring Exhibitor(s) or the generalmovement around the Exhibition and, more generally, with theproper carrying out of the Exhibition. In the event that there is abreach of the present sub-cause, the Organiser reserves the rightto revoke any authorisation for the relevant demonstration orevent forthwith and without further notice.Distribution in the Exhibition pathways and within the entrancehall of the Exhibition, of brochures, flyers, vouchers or otherprinted matter intended to encourage Exhibition visitors to go tothe <strong>Exhibitor's</strong> stand, is strictly prohibited. Only those brochures,flyers, vouchers or other printed material that are displayed andoffered within the interior of the <strong>Exhibitor's</strong> stand are authorised.Any documentation given to any visitor to an <strong>Exhibitor's</strong> stand,such as a business card or order form, shall bear the brand ortrade mark or the company name of the Exhibitor as set out on itsregistration form.19. SALES METHODS/UNFAIR COMPETITIONThe Exhibitor is hereby expressly prohibited, for the entire periodof the Exhibition, from engaging in acts of unfair competition suchas conducting surveys and distributing advertising items outsideits stand area, where such surveys or distribution give rise to thediversion of visitors to the Exhibition in favour of the Exhibitor.The Exhibitor is obliged to ensure that any agreements it entersinto with visitors to the Exhibition are executed in good faith.20. COUNTERFEIT ITEMSThe Exhibitor shall personally undertake to ensure the protectionof any intellectual/industrial property rights related to thematerials, products, services and brands exhibited in accordancewith any applicable legislation or regulatory provisions in force,and the Organiser shall not be held liable for any failure on behalfof the Exhibitor to comply with the provisions of the presentclause, in particular in the event of any action brought by anotherExhibitor or a visitor to the Exhibition.In the event that a competent court finds that the Exhibitor hasbreached the provisions of the present clause, the Organiserreserves the right to oblige the Exhibitor to comply with anystipulations made in the court's findings.Failing that, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to theExhibitor or to enforce any sanctions referred to in the Terms andConditions without giving rise to any claims or compensation ofwhatsoever nature by or for the Exhibitor.21. DISPLAYING PRICESPrices shall be displayed clearly using the French language andshall be inclusive of all taxes and in compliance with anyapplicable legislation in force so as to ensure that the generalpublic is properly informed thereof. Any price reductionannouncements (discount, rebate or repayment) made by way oflabelling, marking or display shall be in accordance with anyapplicable legislation and regulations in force relating to theprovision of prices to consumers, and may only be effected insidethe stand area by way of notices such as small posters. Themaximum size of any such notices or posters shall be 30cm x20cm.22. SACEM DECLARATIONExhibitors wishing to play music at their stands must give theOrganiser prior written notice of the same. It is furthermorehereby expressly stipulated that the Exhibitor shall be exclusivelyliable for compliance with any intellectual property regulationsand/or legislation relating to the playing of music. Thus theExhibitor shall make any necessary declarations relating to theplaying of music to SACEM [the French collecting society] andhereby undertakes to make any requisite payments.The Exhibitor hereby indemnifies the Organiser against any claimsand/or action brought by any third party as a consequence of itsfailure to comply with the provisions of the present clause.23. TAKING PHOTO/BRANDSThe exhibitor hereby and for no charge expressly authorises theOrganiser and the COMEXPOSIUM group:• to take, should they wish to do so, photographs and/or filmsfeaturing the Exhibitor and/or members of its team, as well as anyproducts exhibited at its stand.• to use any such images freely on any media and in particular forthe purposes of advertising material (including on the Internet) in<strong>MILIPOL</strong> PARIS –19 TO 22 NOVEMBER 2013– PARIS NORD VILLEPINTE 35
