15th Annual Holiday of Lights Tree LightingDecember 2, 2010Marking the beginning of the holiday season, this annual event is an opportunity to remember or honor family members andfriends. Lights are placed on a tree located on the front lawn of Beebe Medical Center for each family member or friend honoredor remembered.The 2010 Holiday of Lights proceeds benefited Beebe Medical Center’s Child Obesity Prevention program. Beebe operatesWellness Centers in three area high schools where dietitians work with students to educate them on healthy food choices.Funding from the Holiday of Lights will allow this program to expand to students in the 3rd grade.
