Thus the specific requirementslisted in Technical Specification ISO/TS 16949 relating totesting laboratories are also met.The transfer torque wrenches and torque transducers in useat STAHLWILLE’s DAkkS calibration laboratory are subject toregular examination by the German Federal Physics Institute(PTB) in Braunschweig.The accuracy of the torque wrenches must be proved ina series of steps and these must be traceable. Only in thisway can the reliability of the readings be guaranteed.During the first stage, the end user checks the accuracyof the torque tools in-house using suitable calibratedtesting equipment.
