You may need to bring in extrastaff or have parent volunteers on hand to help ensureall children are fully supervised when the animals arepresent. Seat children with allergies close to an adultto monitor for potential allergic reactions and keepthem from over-exposure to source animals. The extraadults can also help facilitate extra hand washing,as children will need to wash their hands both beforeand after touching the animals. Simcoe Child Care Services is building a new state-of-the-art facility in Innisfil. The new centre will serveup to 124 children, ages 1 to 12, and is expected to open in the fall of 2013. Joan Willms of Graydon Hall Nursery Schools has retired from the ADCO board of directors. Joanchaired the Walkathon Committee in 2011 and 2012 and did a terrific job.
