It is highlyacclaimed as a thorough l<strong>and</strong> review <strong>and</strong> anexcellent means of preparation for the <strong>CPL</strong><strong>and</strong> <strong>RPL</strong> exams.reference volume <strong>and</strong> study guide, entitled<strong>Oil</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Gas</strong> L<strong>and</strong> Study Guide.Taking an exam prior to approval of your<strong>CPL</strong> or <strong>RPL</strong> application is permitted if youbelieve you are qualified, but it will have nobearing on the approval of your application.Taking the exam before approval of yourapplication is at the risk <strong>and</strong> expense ofotherwise not being approved.The review is designed to cover both <strong>CPL</strong><strong>and</strong> <strong>RPL</strong> material on Day 1, <strong>and</strong> additional<strong>CPL</strong> material on Days 2 <strong>and</strong> 3. <strong>RPL</strong>c<strong>and</strong>idates may register for Day 1 only, <strong>and</strong>then sit for the exam, or they may registerfor the whole review. <strong>RPL</strong> c<strong>and</strong>idates maysit for the exam on either Tuesday, July 23 rdor Thursday, July 25 th . Please indicate yourchoice on the registration form.Each registrant should bring a basic h<strong>and</strong>heldcalculator.The registration fee for the full review forAAPL members is $470, <strong>and</strong> for nonmembers$570. The registration fee forthe Day 1 review <strong>and</strong> <strong>RPL</strong> exam is $300(open to AAPL members only).Day one of the review covers both <strong>CPL</strong> <strong>and</strong><strong>RPL</strong> review material <strong>and</strong> days two <strong>and</strong> threecover <strong>CPL</strong> material only.You must be qualified to become a <strong>CPL</strong>or <strong>RPL</strong> in order to sit for the exam. Thoseinterested in taking the exam shouldcomplete the attached questionnaire toverify if you are qualified. Those taking theexam should not rely solely upon the reviewin preparing for the exam.
