family BBQ—residents and
staff and all the families.
has turned its attention to introducing
other vital services such as a Better
Balance Clinic, a weekly dining program
and a computer club. the facilities are
being progressively renovated with
garden makeovers, new carpet, paint
and furniture being installed under the
creative eye of an interior designer.
“it’s an old building, but we’re working
on it—and the residents love it,” says
Violette. “in fact, we often take people
in for respite care and once they’ve
experienced the community atmosphere
and the level of care the arV team
provides, they usually want to stay on
permanently.”
