BioRobotix Brand Pipet TipsBuilding A LegacyEight years ago, as automated liquid handling protocols began to take a strongfoothold in the HTS process, Molecular BioProducts began receiving numerousrequests to make its patented ART barrier technology available in pipet tips designedfor automated platfor ms. These requests came from instrument manufacturers andcustomers alike; like our customers, we set our sights on the future, and embarkedon the arduous process of redefining and elevating our design and manufacturingtechniques to a level that could adhere to tolerances 400% tighter than standard pipettips.During this time we have lear ned many of the same lessons that our customers haveabout just how critical a choice the consumable becomes when used as a componentof a highly sophisticated system. This is because, prior to designing and building aBioRobotix brand tip, we purchase the equipment, buy the consumables available, andbegin running applications in our lab, just like our customers.
