Your wedding agreementPlease note all our booking conditions whenplanning your special day:Accounts: A provisional booking may be held forFOURTEEN DAYS, after which time this bookingmay be released failing written confirmation anddeposit payment. Our standard deposit is £500,which is non-refundable. FOURTEEN DAYS prior toyour wedding day, we require 95% of ourestimated final account. The final balance will bepayable on the day of your wedding.Minimum Numbers: Up to FOURTEEN DAYS priorto the date of your wedding, you have theoption of reducing the numbers by up to amaximum of 10% without incurring any charge.Numbers can be increased, subject toagreement with the hotel up to 48 HOURSbefore the date of the wedding.Accommodation: All of our packages offer aninclusive complimentary accommodation forthe bride and bridegroom in a double roomwith full Irish breakfast, at a Hastings Hotel ofyour choice, subject to availability. The Hotel willcontract up to 5 rooms at the preferredwedding rate. Please inform the EventsCo-Ordinator if you require these rooms. Furtheraccommodation may be reserved for familyand guests at preferential rates.Accommodation is subject to availability andwe would encourage reservations to be madeat your earliest convenience.Final Arrangements:Confirmation of finalarrangements, including menus and all specialrequirements, must be confirmed to the Hotel atleast 8 weeks prior to the date of your wedding.Final Numbers: Final numbers should be given nolater than FOURTEEN DAYS prior to your wedding.This represents the numbers used in calculatingyour final account.Amendments or Cancellations by The Hotel:Should the hotel, for reasons beyond its control,need to make any amendments to yourbooking, we reserve the right to offer analternative choice of facilities.The hotel maycancel the booking if: (a) the booking might, inthe opinion of the hotel, prejudice thereputation of the hotel; and (b) if scheduledpayments are not received by the hotel by theagreed date.Amendments or Cancellations by you:In the unfortunate circumstances that you haveto cancel or postpone your confirmed bookingat any time prior to the event, the Hotel willmake every effort to re-sell the date on yourbehalf. The Hotel’s Cancellation Policy is 90% oncontracted accommodation and room hirerevenue, and 65% on the contracted food andbeverage revenue. (Menu prices calculatedfrom a minimum of £24 pp) Any cancellation orpostponement should be advised to themanagement of the Hotel in the first instanceverbally, followed by written confirmation.Prices: All prices are correct at the time of print;however they are subject to price fluctuations.Rates are also inclusive of VAT at the prevailingrate.On the Day: Other events may be taking placein the hotel on the same day, however theEverglades guarantees that yours is the onlywedding in the hotel on that day.General: The hotel reserves the right to approveany external entertainment or activities whichyou have arranged, and cannot accept liabilityfor any result on costs.
