built up in Bazhou City (located between Beijing and Tianjin)
and laid out to house five further production lines. The plant
is scheduled to start operation in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Successful supply of a fully automatic
winding machine - GOEBEL KPW3 - to
Finland
In August we commissioned a fully automatic GOEBEL KPW3
winder on the site of our customer EURAN Erikoispaperit Oy
(Finland).
Up to date, EURAN produced cash register rolls on a GOEBEL
practica 4. The customer intended to more than double their
production so that a new slitter rewinder was needed. The
fully automatic GOEBEL KPW3 machine recently commis-
sioned is designed for a very high converting speed and a
high level of automation. So, for a roll of 100 m it takes a
cycle time of only 25 seconds, and the machine can be
changed over to a different roll size in less than 20 minutes.
The machine is equipped with a breaking and pounding
device.
Ms Riitta Suoja, the company’s CEO and co-owner (the com-
pany was part of Ahlström up to 1994) said: “We are pleased
with the successful commissioning and the enlargement of
capacity provided by the GOEBEL KPW3”.
