GRECON finger jointing lines ProfiJoint:Large performance potential for startersThe newly developed starter modelProfiJoint can be extended up to theshaper combination by the modularsystem. Timber widths up to 150 mm (6’’),timber thicknesses up to 50 mm (2’’)and min. infeed lengths of 150 mm (6’’)can be processed without any problems.A casting reduces vibrations in the areain which a precise jointing is of importance. No matter whether joints shall bevertical or horizontal with scoring units;the product family of the ProfiJointmodel is provided with the same tooltechnology as the high performancecategories from GRECON.GRECON finger jointing line ProfiJoint combination:The highest extension level of the ProfiJointBy a combination of 2 shapers, performanceis doubled. The cutting process iscarried out completely automatically onboth sides. The 2-spindle system facilitatesthe production of special profiles. The ProfiJoint single cutter can beupgraded to a ProfiJoint combination atany time.

GRECON finger jointing lines HS 120 and HS 180:The unrivalled line in the high-performance rangeThe horizontal single timber shapersfrom GRECON are the quickest equipmentavailable on the world market. Upto 180 pcs per minute in continuousoperation and 12 pressing cycles per minuteturn this line to a production giant.High-performance components, as theautomatic feeding system, can be integratedin addition. Also cutting toolsystems with a diameter between228.6 mm and 266.7 mm (9 to 10.5”)may be operated.GRECON finger jointing line Turbo-S 1000:Package line for highest performance and demandsThe patented shaper combination ofthe Turbo-S 1000 satisfies all wishes ofperformance and quality. Two shapersconnected by intermediate belts workindependently from each other in theline. Top performance is achieved by theprevious alignment of the packages onthe intermediate belts. Quality standards,as package monitoring, splinterprotection, scoring unit, are available.Timber infeed lengths of 2 m (6.6 ft)and more can be realised.

Finger jointing lines with the glue application system FlankenJet:GRECON system with up to 30% glue savingThe glue application system FlankenJetdeveloped by GRECON provides for anexactly proportioned and specific applicationof the glue on the bottom of thejoints, even with critical profiles. Differentviscosities of the glue are processedsmoothly by the nozzle slide systemwith different borings. The glue film isdistributed on the entire surface of thejoints; drops do not exist anymore.FlankenJet can be cleaned quickly andeasily and saves up to 30 % of the gluecompared with conventional glueapplication systems.Finger jointing lines with package monitoring:Laser light barriers for a continuous cutting qualityWhen high-performance with fullautomaticlines is of importance, thesesystems monitor the alignment of thetimbers in the package during the processand restart alignment, if necessary. Thus, the joints are cut precisely and aproduct of high quality is generated.A counter-profile provides for a tear-freequality of the last timber in the package. This splinter protection can be adaptedindividually to the finger joint profile.

12 13Tools for any application:Optimised processing aggregates for exact finger jointingAn excellent tool standard with slittingsaws from the top and the bottom, huggersand finger cutters forms the basisfor the production of finger joint profiles. The slitting saws are synchronised,i.e. they cut into the wood and avoidtear-outs at the outlet. The indirect driveof the maintenance-free WEINIG toolspindles ensures high performancereserves and a vibration-free processingof short pieces. Only by this method thejoint quality can be generated preciselywithout splinters to the bottom of thejoints with an absolutetight junction ofwood.Finger jointing lines from a manualto a full-automatic modular designBy the modular design of a finger jointingline you can determine the degreeof automation yourself. No matterwhether you wish to operate a manual,semi-automatic or full-automatic line:Depending on the requirementsGRECON recommends the right degreeof automation.
