If you love sport and exercise and want to help others achieve their fitness goals, this is the programme for you. Duringthe first year you’ll gain a good understanding of the body and how it responds to exercise and training. You may exitafter year 1 with the Certificate in Fitness and Exercise Science or continue on to year 2 of the diploma. During the secondyear, you’ll learn to apply your knowledge to all parts of the community in both group and individual settings. Thetransition from science and knowledge to individual and group application is a key focus.
