AccommodationThis Course is fully residential. You are required to stay on campus in the roomsallotted to you. You are not permitted to change rooms or keep your spouse /guests in your room.Married couples within the batch and in the Service (without children) will beallotted one room. Married lady Officer Trainees with children and without familysupport can be provided with a single room and crèche facilities for their children.Infants/ children are not allowed in the academic complex including the OfficerTrainees' Lounge.Leave and AttendanceAs this is a short duration course, you will not be ordinarily eligible for leave (stationleave/ casual leave/ earned leave). You are required to compulsorily attend allacademic and extra-curricular sessions unless specifically declared as 'optional'by the Course team. If you are unable to attend an engagement, prior permissionhas to be taken from the Associate Course Coordinator (Discipline). Attendance inacademic sessions will be based on a seating plan that is fixed and cannot bechanged.Unauthorized absence will result in issue of show cause notice, which has to bereplied to within 24 hours. Non-receipt of explanation on time will be treated as anact of indiscipline and further administrative action will follow. If the explanation isnot found acceptable, appropriate penalty will be imposed. In extreme cases, andbased on the considered decision of the Course team, the recalcitrant individualshall be declared unfit to continue in the programme and shall be relieved forthwithfrom the Academy as per rules. The sequence and channel of appeal on adisciplinary action will be the Associate Course Coordinator (Discipline), CourseTeam through the Course Coordinator, the Joint Director, and the Director. Thedecision of the Director on all matters of appeal will be final. Any attempt to bypassthis system or attempt to obtain recommendation/ request from authorities outsidethe Academy will be treated as an act of extreme indiscipline and result indischarge of the delinquent Officer Trainee from the Course.14
