FromDIRECTOR OFCAMPUS ADMINISTRATION84th CAS TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPSAT SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK ATHLETICS CENTRE (SOPAC), HOMEBUSHTHURSDAY 13th SEPTEMBER, 2012It is COMPULSORY for all boys in Years 9, 10 and 11.Boys will travel by bus from TGS to Homebush.Depart TGS at 1.15pmFinish at Homebush by 8.15pm (Approx)Boys may also be picked-up at TGS by 8.45pm (Approx)Please arrange to meet your son in the school car park (entry via Victoria St)There will be three buses leaving at 11:00 am from Prospect Road for the competitors.All boys in Years 9, 10 and 11 will travel to SOPAC by bus from <strong>School</strong>, departing at 1:15pm. Students in Years 7, 8 and 12can voluntarily attend by collecting a permission note from the Sportmaster’s office and returning the signed permission slipto the student services office by Wednesday 12th September.The Championships will finish at approximately 8.15pm. The buses will be leaving as soon as possible thereafter and willreturn all students back to the Summer Hill Campus.Any student wishing to be picked up by his parents from SOPAC after the Championships must supply a note toStudent Services by Wednesday 12th September notifying the <strong>School</strong> of these arrangements. Students not returningto <strong>Trinity</strong> must be collected by their Parents or Guardian as students are NOT to use public transport to make their way home.Parents who collect their sons from SOPAC will have to park in one of the car parks while waiting for their sons to leave theCentre in the evening, as there will not be any room for cars to park outside of the Athletics Centre.Parents will not be able to collect their sons before the end of the CAS Track and Field Championships as it is grosslydiscourteous for boys to leave before the end of the meeting. All boys should support their <strong>School</strong> Track and Field Team rightto the very end.Boys must wear their winter uniform, including coats, to the Championships. Boys should also be ready to be activelyinvolved in cheering, thus supporting our Athletes. All I-pods, MP3s, tennis balls, reading material, etc will be confiscated.Boys may take their mobile phones but must ensure they are switched off during the Championships. The phones may bekept in the student’s pocket.Boys will be able to purchase food and drink at the Centre. However, it would be an advantage to bring foodand drink, as the lines at the kiosk can be very long. No school bags should be taken to the Championships anddefinitely no glass bottles.If there is a legitimate reason for your son not to attend the Championships, parents are encouraged to write a letterto the Master of the Middle <strong>School</strong> (Yr 9) or Master of the Senior <strong>School</strong> (Yrs 10 and 11) requesting permission.Boys in Years 9 to 11 who are unable to attend the Championships will be expected to attend and give support to analternate non-compulsory <strong>School</strong> event at a later date.Bradley Wirth | Director of Campus AdministrationATTENTION All Water Polo playersA Water Polo Development Camp is taking place in the first week of the holidays;Tuesday 18 September – Thursday 20 September from 8.30am – 11.30am,at Ashfield Aquatics Centre, with <strong>Trinity</strong>’s newly appointed Director of WaterPolo Coaching, Mr Bruce Duffy.
