Team A was made up ofCaptain of Fencing Gabriel Lim (12Yo), David Chan (12He),Henry Rodriguez (11Yo), and Ryan Keable (11Ar).Team B was Vice-Captain Ben Bradford (12WJ), JamesMason (11Ta), Jonathan Yong (11WH) and Nathaniel Bradford(11WH).Team C was Mohamed Ismail (11WJ), Sam Gray (11WJ),Andrew Hartley (11Ta), Alex Blackwell (11Ar) and ThomasIssa (11WJ).Each of our fencers gave a good account of himself againsttalented opponents who came mostly from other CAS and GPSschools. Many of these have competed at national and eveninternational standard. The B team excelled themselves with aconvincing win against Newington. The three teams advanced to the quarter finals qualifying 11th,13th and 14th. In the quarter against Sydney Grammar, HenryRodriguez had one inspiring bout in particular where starting at0-5 he defeated his opponent 10-7. The boys all kept calm underpressure and applied everything that Coach James Walsh hadbeen teaching them over the year. However, for most this wastheir first competition and no team was able to advance further. In all, it was an enjoyable day and the experience gained isinvaluable.I would like to thank Gabriel Lim for his reliable leadership overthe year and also commend Ryan Keable for his exemplarycommitment to this sport.Mr David Latimer | MIC Fencing (Winter)INVITATIONThe School Council and The Head Master invite you and your friends to attend...MIDDLE SCHOOL SPEECH DAYon Thursday, 4 October 2012 at 10.30am at Sydney Town Hall2012SENIOR SCHOOL SPEECH DAYon Thursday, 4 October 2012 at 2.15pm at Sydney Town HallCENTENARY EVENT: PRIMARY YEARS MUSIC CONCERTon Wednesday, 21 November 2012 at 7pmpresented at The James Wilson Hogg Assembly Hall, Summer Hill CampusCENTENARY EVENT: THE FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLSon Friday, 30 November 2012 at 7.30pm in St Andrew’s Cathedral, SydneyTHE FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLSon Sunday, 2 December 2012 at 8pm in the Trinity Grammar School War Memorial ChapelPREPARATORY SCHOOL ANNUAL PRIZE GIVINGon Thursday, 6 December 2012 at 5.30pm in The James Wilson Hogg Assembly HallJUNIOR SCHOOL ANNUAL PRIZE GIVINGon Friday, 7 December 2012 at 10am in The James Wilson Hogg Assembly HallTrinity Grammar SchoolPreparatory SchoolORDER OF SERVICEPRIMARYYEARS MUSICCONCERTWednesday, 21 November 2012 at 7pmThe James Wilson Hogg Assembly Hall,Trinity Grammar SchoolORDER OF SERVICETRINITY GRAMMAR SCHOOLJUNIOR SCHOOLA Festival ofNine Lessonsand Carols2012JUNIOR SCHOOL ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING10.00AM FRIDAY 7 DECEMBER 2011YEAR IN REVIEWTHE JAMES WILSON HOGG ASSEMBLY HALLSUMMER HILLWithinThe Trinity Grammar SchoolWar Memorial ChapelSummer HillSunday 2nd December, 2012 at 8.00 pmPREPARATORY SCHOOL ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING5.30PM THURSDAY 6 DECEMBER 2011YEAR IN REVIEWTHE JAMES WILSON HOGG ASSEMBLY HALLSUMMER HILL2012TRINITY GRAMMAR SCHOOLSPEECH DAYORDER OF SERVICEA Festival ofNine Lessonsand CarolsSt Andrew’s Cathedral, SydneyFriday, November 30th, 2012MIDDLE SCHOOL SPEECH DAY AND PRIZE GIVINGFOR YEARS 7 - 9 10.30AMYEAR IN REVIEWSENIOR SCHOOL SPEECH DAY AND PRIZE GIVINGFOR YEARS 10 - 12 2.15PMTrinity Grammar SchoolPreparatory SchoolTRINITY GRAMMAR SCHOOL2012PREPARATORY SCHOOLTHURSDAY 4 OCTOBER 2012 | SYDNEY TOWN HALL8 > Head Master’s Bulletin | 7 September 2012 www.trinity.nsw.edu.au
