The Student Senate voted down a proposaldesigned by several senators toeliminate Winter Carnival Ski Day inlieu of a day set completely aside forstudent participation in a Bill of Rightsconvention. A minority of senators feltthis day would best be put to a constructiveuse discussing and revising thebill; the majority apparently decided itwas more important to go skiing atWinter Park.The Winter Carnival Central Committee,concerned over new ideas to boostattendance, changed the traditional skiday from Friday to Wednesday.
