Peyton Talbott,Westminster, '32, also did well in thequalifying rounds of the hurdles but didnot win honors in the finals.Hundreds of <strong>Phi</strong>s from all sections of thecountry attended the great quadrennialsports festival at Los Angeles. Two yearsago the Los Angeles Alumni Club gave theFraternity a very cordial invitation to holdits 1932 convention at Los Angeles duringthe period of the international games, andhad the financial prospect been less stringentthe Cahfornia bid would no doubt have giventhat of Colorado <strong>Phi</strong>s very serious competitionindeed.As it was, attendance at the XthOlympiad fitted in very conveniently
