There is no membership fee and everyone 55 and older is welcome to visit thesenior centers during operating hours to see what there is to offer and take part in our activities.Please come see what we’re doing!SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAMSCongregate MealsHot, nutritious meals are served weekdays at each ofour centers following menus prepared by a qualifiednutritionist with senior dietary needs in mind. Disheson a recent menu included Salisbury Steak, Stuffed GreenPeppers, Lasagna and Turkey Pot Roast.The Senior Nutrition Program is for those ages 60 andolder. Suggested donation is $3 per day or $5 for thoseyounger than 60. There are no waiting lists or incomequalifications. To make sure we’ve got a meal ready foryou, please call our senior nutrition program coordinatorto make a reservation. 385-8029.Served at Wilson from 11:30 to 12pmServed at Colonia from 12pm-1pmHome-Delivered MealsThis program is designed for those ages 60 and older thatcannot come to one of our Senior Centers due to physicaldisabilities and/or being homebound. The participantreceives 10 frozen meals and enough fruits, salad, bread,butter, yogurt, cheese and milk to fill out the meals.Again, all designed with the senior in mind by a qualifiednutritionist.Home-delivered programs are bi-weekly.
