3.0 Program SupportThis section describes the IBM support available for TCP/IP for z/VM.3.1 Preventive Service PlanningBefore you install TCP/IP for z/VM, check with your IBM Support Center or use IBMLink to determine ifPreventive Service Planning (PSP) information is available that you should know. To receive zSeries service that you are accustomed to, IBM highly recommends ordering the z/VMSoftware Subscription and Support, specifying program number 5739-SWS and feature number 9001 forasset registration, the annual support charge feature number for z/VM Version 4 Release 1.0 (featurenumber 6014), and the quantity of licenses.Report any difficulties you have using this program to your IBM Support Center. If an APAR (AuthorizedProgram Analysis Report) is required, the Support Center will provide the address to which any neededdocumentation can be sent.Figure 4 identifies IBM RETAIN information — the Component ID (COMPID), Release, and FieldEngineering Service Number (FESN) — that corresponds to TCP/IP for z/VM:Figure 4.
