Customs declarations and language: (1) and (5) Green label and one non-adhesive form. Spanish or French as well as English. Prohibitions: Coins, banknotes, currency notes or securities of any kind payable to bearer, travellers’ cheques, platinum, gold or silver whether manufactured or not, precious stones, jewels of other valuable articles. Restrictions: Apply to the importation of: Bees (queens), silkworms etc. exchanged between officially recognised institutions. Invoice: An invoice in duplicate is required for items exceeding $5 Guatemalan in value. Import licence: An import licence is required for items exceeding $5 Guatemalan in value. Dutiable packets: Sealed packets which are likely to be suspected of being dutiable should be endorsed “The sender authorises the opening of this packet for examination”.
