Glass breakage resulting from normal use of glass products is not covered under this warranty.Please refer to the section on installation and use.Damages and ClaimsUnless Aviana is notified within 5 days of receipt of shipment of any irregularities, it will be assumed thatthe customer accepts the order as shipped. The customer must initiate and file a claim with the carrier fordamaged goods, as the carrier is responsible, once they sign the bill of lading. The client should note anydiscrepancies on the carrier’s delivery slip before accepting shipment and should request an inspection by thecarrier. If packages are received damaged, please note this on the carriers receipt. Be sure to save all damagedcartons and packing materials to present to the carrier when filing a claim.Aviana will not accept liability for damages caused through failure of products supplied, claims of labor,shipping cost, incidental or consequential damages will not be accepted.QuotationsIn making quotations for projects, Aviana will provide an estimated delivery time. The estimate delivery timeis offered as a best estimate for the anticipated delivery time. It is expressly stated that the estimated time ofdelivery is not binding upon Aviana or the Sales Representative, and does not provide the basis for claims ofconsequential or other damages.Returned ChecksReturned checks will be subject to a $25 surcharge.Installation and Use Warning1. CAUTION: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. THE NUT ON THE DRAIN SET SHOULD BEHAND TIGHTENED AND THEN TURNED NO MORE THAN ONE ADDITIONALTURN. Silicone is recommended to be used to create a water tight seal. The metal surfaces of the drainset should never come in contact with the glass (Doing so can cause stresses to build in the glasswhich could later crack the glass). Use of a mounting ring is also recommended. Please refer to page 112. Glass Basins are not intended for holding water. Ensure that the drain used remains open.3. Large quick variations in temperature may cause breakage. Also, scalding water may cause breakage.4 Not recommended for installation below medicine cabinets.5. Do not apply pressure to the edges of the vessel as this may cause cracking at the mounting location.6.Dropping items in or on the glass vessels and/or sink may cause breakage.Care and CleaningClean using a mild glass cleaner. Spray cleaner on a soft cloth and then wipe basin.
