Parents’ Meetings - Helping your child prepare for <strong>First</strong> Holy <strong>Communion</strong>.<br />
� Wednesday Sept 26th: Cill Mhuire 8.00pm<br />
� Thursday Sept 27th: <strong>Parish</strong> Church 8.00pm<br />
� Set up Prayer Space in your home.<br />
� Use prayer card for morning and night prayer.<br />
October<br />
Enrolment weekend : October 6 th & 7 th at all Masses<br />
� Please bring enrolment card to Church<br />
� Place a rosary beads in your Prayer Space.<br />
� Pray a decade of the rosary with your child every day<br />
� (See Leaflet explaining the rosary)<br />
� Visitation team will visit homes ( optional)<br />
November<br />
Parents’ meeting - Helping your child understand the Mass<br />
� Tuesday Nov 6th: Cill Mhuire 8.00pm<br />
� Thursday Nov 8th: <strong>Parish</strong> Church 8.00pm<br />
� Read leaflet explaining parts of the Mass<br />
� Children will bring a leaf to any Mass during November as a reminder to pray<br />
for those who have died.<br />
Faith groups will begin (Optional small groups)<br />
� Session 1 :Bible stories for you and your child<br />
� Session 2: Helping your child understand the Mass.<br />
� Session 3: Helping your child grow in faith.<br />
� Cill Mhuire Church on Tuesdays at 11am<br />
� <strong>Parish</strong> Centre on Thursdays at 8pm

� Children will bring a Birthday card for Jesus to any Mass in any of the Churches<br />
� Place a crib in your home. Read bible stories with your child i.e. The Christmas story<br />
January<br />
Blessing of Holy Water<br />
� Children will bring a small bottle to Church and will be given some Holy Water to take<br />
home. ( Find out times holy water is used)<br />
� Catholic Schools Week<br />
February<br />
Parents’ meeting - Helping your child prepare for <strong>First</strong> Penance<br />
� Cill Mhuire 26 th February 8pm. <strong>Parish</strong> Church 28 th February 8pm<br />
� Read leaflet on <strong>First</strong> Penance. Pray the Act of Sorrow each day.<br />
� Place a St Brigid’s Cross & a Trocaire Box in your prayer space<br />
